Summary of Responsibilities
The Account Director, Client Services (AD) is responsible for leading client delivery excellence, driving profitable programs, and enhancing value within the assigned account portfolio. As an expert in client programs and our proprietary Vendor Management System (VMS), the AD manages program deliverables, implements account plans, and achieves service level metrics. This role requires proactive communication with clients, fostering strong relationships, and providing valuable consultation.
Description of Essential Duties and Functions (each duty and function listed indicates % of time):
- Ensure maximum client satisfaction by meeting or exceeding all contracted SLA, KPI, and performance metrics. 15%
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive expansion opportunities. 15%
- Act as a trusted advisor to client contacts, developing and maintaining senior-level executive relationships. 10%
- Drive strategies towards adoption and consumption of technology. 5%
- Communicate VMS enhancements to all necessary parties effectively. 5%
- Serve as the escalation point for VMS-related issues. 5%
- Maintain an understanding of client’s industry, business strategy, and market conditions to provide customized solutions. 5%
- Perform site visits and proactive client communication through strategic business reviews and other platforms. 5%
- Oversee P&L for established accounts, ensuring profitability meets or exceeds fiscal targets. 5%
- Engage with staffing suppliers or MSP stakeholders to integrate objectives into growth strategy. 10%
- Lead and develop all assigned team members by example. 10%
- Handle team selection and retention responsibilities. 5%
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. 5%
Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
Language/Communication Skills (written & verbal)
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to develop management reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
- Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Computer/System Skills Requirements
- Working knowledge of computers including Windows environments, email, and the internet.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Visio.
- Ability to quickly learn proprietary technology.
- Experience utilizing, implementing, and/or managing a Vendor Management System.
