Position Overview
As a Principal Cybersecurity Software Engineer at sunRISE group inc., you will lead the design and development of high-security software systems. You’ll apply your expertise in large-scale software development and cybersecurity best practices to create resilient, scalable, and robust systems that meet our clients’ critical security requirements. This role requires deep technical acumen and leadership to drive security innovation and deliver top-tier solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of high-security, scalable software systems by applying best practices in cybersecurity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define security requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Implement and review code, ensuring it meets rigorous security standards across languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, and Python.
- Drive the adoption of secure coding practices and ensure the team follows the latest cybersecurity developments.
- Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews to ensure system resilience.
- Serve as a technical mentor and cybersecurity expert, providing guidance to teams across multiple projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline, OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering with expertise in coding languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- 6+ years of experience working with large-scale high-security software systems.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity practices, with deep knowledge of threat prevention and mitigation strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field, OR equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of technical engineering experience with extensive coding knowledge in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Expertise in developing security frameworks for cloud environments and large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with secure DevOps practices and cloud-based cybersecurity solutions.
