Position Overview
As a Principal Software Engineer at sunRISE group inc., you will lead and mentor engineering teams while driving key technical initiatives. Your role will involve coding, architectural design, and guiding the technical direction of projects. You will be instrumental in navigating complex technical challenges and improving engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor engineering teams, providing technical guidance and support.
- Drive cross-organizational initiatives and collaborate with various teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Navigate ambiguity and adapt to fast-paced, changing environments.
- Identify and implement automation and tooling opportunities to enhance engineering processes.
- Dive deep into unfamiliar tech stacks to evaluate and address gaps.
- Contribute to full-stack development, ensuring comprehensive solutions across all layers of the stack.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- 6+ years of technical engineering experience with proficiency in coding languages such as C++, C#, JavaScript, or Python.
- 1+ years of experience as a tech lead or in mentoring other engineers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND 8+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, or JavaScript.
- OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, or JavaScript.
- Proven ability to drive cross-organizational initiatives.
- Experience navigating ambiguity in fast-paced environments.
- Skills in identifying automation and tooling opportunities to improve engineering processes.
- Experience as a full-stack developer.
