Position Overview:
As a Senior Technical Program Manager at sunRISE group inc., you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from conception through execution, managing timelines, risks, and communication across teams. In this role, you will collaborate with engineering, product management, and leadership to ensure projects align with both technical and business priorities. You will be tasked with solving broad technical challenges, introducing process efficiencies, and driving impactful outcomes in areas like network architecture, software engineering, and global deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional projects across the Global Networking Technology team, ensuring they align with business and technical objectives.
- Collaborate with leadership, engineering, and product management teams to manage project timelines, identify risks, and plan requirements.
- Inspire and mentor a team of Technical Program Managers, fostering a collaborative environment across network and software engineering teams.
- Drive operational efficiencies by introducing new tools and processes to streamline execution across teams.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, from engineers to executives, ensuring alignment and progress toward project goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience in program management, Agile Project Management, Product Life-cycle Management, Network Architecture, and Network Design.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, with or without direct reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience with strong written and verbal communication skills that create impact across large teams.
- Experience with both project and program management in Network or Software Engineering environments.
- Expertise in one or more areas: network data, control and management plane software design, or global network deployments.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and changing specifications or standards, and provide clear direction to teams.
