Position Overview:
As a Software Engineer at sunRISE group inc., you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software systems. With a focus on building resilient, distributed, and highly reliable systems, you will tackle some of the most complex challenges in the software development lifecycle, from inception to deployment. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize existing systems, improve performance, and ensure operational excellence through automation and innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in the full software lifecycle from design to deployment, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our services.
- Provide system design consulting, build software platforms and frameworks, and support capacity planning and deployment.
- Monitor the health and availability of services, measuring latency and optimizing system performance.
- Utilize automation tools to scale systems sustainably, continuously improving the reliability and velocity of systems.
- Lead blameless postmortems to improve the overall service lifecycle.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software development using one or more programming languages.
- 8+ years of experience working with data structures and algorithms.
- 3+ years of experience in leading projects, including the design, analysis, and troubleshooting of distributed systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in managing complex, large-scale systems, and optimizing software infrastructure.
